Terms of Service for Steps4Dogs App

1. General Information

  • 1.1. These Terms of Service govern the use of the Steps4Dogs mobile application, available in the Google Play and Apple App Store.
  • 1.2. The distributor of the application is Inventi Apps Sp. z o.o., Towarowa 35/4, 00-869 Warsaw, Poland.

  • 1.3. By using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Registration and Account

  • 2.1. To use the app, you must create a user account.
  • 2.2. The app is intended for users aged 12 and above. However, it does not contain any content inappropriate for younger audiences.
  • 2.3. Registration is available via email, Google, or Apple account.

3. Trial Period and Subscription

  • 3.1. New users receive a 7-day free trial.
  • 3.2. After the trial, a monthly or annual subscription is required.
  • 3.3. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in Google or Apple account settings.
  • 3.4. Payments are processed via Google Play or App Store. We do not access your payment information.
  • 3.5. No refunds will be issued if your account is blocked due to a violation. Refunds follow Google or Apple policy.

4. User Content and Code of Conduct

  • 4.1. Users may upload a photo of their dog (avatar), which will be publicly visible in rankings (TOP).
  • 4.2. Users must not upload photos containing nudity, violence, offensive, erotic, or inappropriate content. The same applies to the dog’s name displayed in rankings.
  • 4.3. The user may optionally choose a country flag to be displayed next to their avatar in the app’s rankings. This choice is voluntary and can be changed or removed in the app settings.
  • 4.4. The dog’s avatar and name must not contain commercial, promotional, or business-related content. If the rules are violated (e.g. offensive content, spam, advertising), the user's account may be blocked or deleted without notice.

5. Privacy and Data

  • 5.1. For details on how we handle your data, read our Privacy Policy.
  • 5.2. The app collects GPS data only during dog walks for activity tracking.

6. Liability

  • 6.1. We are not liable for user-generated content or service interruptions.
  • 6.2. The app is provided "as is". You use it at your own risk.

7. Changes to the Terms

  • 7.1. We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version is always available in the app and on our website.
  • 7.2. You will be informed about major changes via app or email.
